- 1 lb button or cremini mushrooms, cleaned and stems trimmed 🍄
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt & black pepper, to taste 🧂
- 2 eggs 🥚
- 1 cup milk or buttermilk 🥛
- 1½ cups breadcrumbs or panko
- Oil for frying
Cool Ranch Dip
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp dried dill
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Coating
- In one bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a second bowl, whisk eggs with milk.
- In a third bowl, add breadcrumbs or panko.
2. Coat the Mushrooms
- Dredge mushrooms in flour mixture.
- Dip into egg mixture.
- Coat well with breadcrumbs.
3. Fry Until Crispy
- Heat oil to 175°C (350°F).
- Fry mushrooms in batches for 2–3 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
