- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (plus extra for frying)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
For filling/topping (optional):
- Powdered sugar
- Whipped cream
- Fresh strawberries
- Jam, Nutella, or sweet cheese filling

- Prepare the batter:
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, salt, oil, and vanilla.
Gradually add the flour and mix until smooth. The batter should be thin and slightly runny. - Rest the batter (optional but recommended):
Let it rest for about 20–30 minutes. - Cook the crepes:
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
Pour a small ladle of batter into the pan and swirl it around to form a thin layer.
Cook for about 1–2 minutes until the edges lift slightly, then flip and cook the other side for about 1 minute. - Fill and roll:
Spread your desired filling (jam, chocolate, etc.) over the crepe.
Roll it up tightly. - Serve:
Dust with powdered sugar and top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries like in the picture.
