Ingredients:
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp oil or lard
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp sweet Hungarian paprika
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Brown in oil 5–7 min per side. Remove.
- Sauté onions until soft, add garlic 30 sec.
- Remove from heat, stir in paprika.
- Return chicken, add broth. Simmer covered 30–35 min.
- Mix flour with some sour cream, stir into sauce. Add remaining sour cream off heat.
- Garnish with parsley. Serve with noodles, rice, or dumplings.
