Hungarian Cheese-Stuffed Chicken Patties

Ingredients
- 600 g ground chicken
- 1 egg
- 2–3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 150 g firm cheese (mozzarella or similar), cut into cubes
For coating:
- Flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Breadcrumbs
For frying:
- Oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Take a portion of the mixture, flatten it in your hand.
- Place a cube of cheese in the center and seal well, shaping into a patty.
- Coat each patty in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil over medium heat.
- Fry patties until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot while the cheese is melted.
