  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef
    In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and sesame oil.
    Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce
    In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and black pepper. Set aside.
  3. Cook the beef
    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
    Add beef in a single layer and stir-fry 1–2 minutes until just browned.
    Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook vegetables
    Add remaining oil to the pan.
    Stir-fry bell peppers and onions for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Combine & finish
    Return beef to the pan.
    Pour in the sauce and stir-fry 1–2 minutes until thickened and glossy.
  6. Serve
