Ingredients
- 2½ cups (315 g) all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup (170 g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- Pinch of salt
- Filling options: apricot jam, walnut paste, or poppy seed paste
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and powdered sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in egg yolk and sour cream to form a soft dough. Chill 30 minutes.
- Roll dough into small balls. Flatten slightly, place a small amount of filling in the center, and shape into crescents.
- Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake 15–18 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar.
