🥔 Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 4 to 6 medium Russet potatoes
  • 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Optional toppings (highly recommended):

  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Chopped green onions
  • Fresh cilantro

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Potatoes

  • Peel the potatoes (optional) and cut them into small cubes.
  • Boil in salted water until just tender, about 8–10 minutes.
  • Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the Beef

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  • Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Add the taco seasoning and a splash of water (according to packet instructions).
  • Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

3️⃣ Combine

  • Add the cooked potatoes to the seasoned beef.
  • Gently mix and cook together for 5 minutes, letting the flavors blend.
  • Taste and adjust salt and pepper.

🍽️ Serve

Serve hot and top with cheese, sour cream, or your favorite taco toppings.
