Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾–1 cup water
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Add eggs and stir.
- Gradually add water until you have a soft, sticky dough.
- Drop small portions into boiling water using a spoon or spaetzle maker.
- Cook 2–3 minutes until dumplings float to the top.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
- Toss with butter or oil and serve immediately.
